Rush Can’t Even Play Rush on Rock Band

I’m certainly no Alex Lifeson on the guitar, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t find it frustrating that after playing “terrestrial” guitar for years I can’t seem to get past the beginning stages of Rock Band. But after watching this hilarious video from the Colbert Report, I feel a little better. Check out Neil Peart, Geddy Lee, and Alex Lifeson stumbling through “Tom Sawyer” on Rock Band. Fantastic!

    Nice Video. I would rather just play a real guitar myself. There is something for everyone.

    I have some friends in a band and for fun at a Christmas party they played Rock Band to one of their cover songs the perform pretty regular! Needless to say the drummer was better at the guitar!

    I’m so glad I’m not the only ‘real’ musician being very, very bad at rock band or guitar hero and all those other music games!
